So, in the world of education, this is a new buzz word, but very applicable. We saw this video at a staff meeting the other day, and it proves to be very true. Students today, from kindergarten through high school and college are so digitially programmed. Technology surrounds them and they multitask using all things tech...IMing, gaming, downloading, uploading, texting, blogging, etc.
I have to say that even after watching this video, it made me feel somewhat out of the techno-loop. But after watching this, and listening to other "veteran" teachers who have been in the game for 30+ years, comment on how they can't believe kids can do all this at once and why don't they just read a book, I feel a little more in the loop.
