Travel Suggestions Needed...

The travel bug is itching. Only a few weeks and we'll be off to Las Vegas! I'm pretty excited because we've never been there before. I have to imagine it's better than Reno because that wasn't too much to sneeze at. It's funny how our trip came about.

You know those crazy telemarketers that call and try and sell you a timeshare? Well, Chris got hooked and we're off to Vegas to take 'em for all they're worth - hopefully it won't be the other way around. We've got a 2 night stay booked at the Hilton Grand Vacations on the Strip and then we're off to the JW Marriott Resort. I'm more excited for the Marriott because there is a spa package waiting for me. Yahoo.

So, my Vegas-travelin' friends, I'm looking for some input. What are the "can't miss" spots around town? HELP!

places in and or near vegas i think you guys would like are hoover dam, red rock canyon, the jean-phillippe pastisserie in the bellagio, bellagio conservatory, payards pastry shop in caesars, bellagio fountains, cafe ba-ba-reeba at the fashion show mall (it is part of lettuce entertain you from chicago, but being spanish tapas there are plenty of vegetarian options)... Enjoy! and play WAR, it's the best game! Easy and not intimidating like the other table games!

I love Vegas, I'm so jealous you get to go!
Caesar's Palace is definitely my fave casino, but they are all magnificent. You just have to go walk around and go in and out of every one! Check out the Fashion Show Mall too, on the strip. To eat, we enjoyed the Jean Phillipe Patisserie, Cafe BaBa Reeba, Mon Ami Gabi at Paris; we've also been to a couple steakhouses, but not sure you'd enjoy those as much :)I'm a big fan of video poker...
