For some reason, I usually end up on the Tastespotting web site on Wednesdays. I know I've mentioned the web site before, but really, if you like food and haven't checked it out in a while, it's worth a revisit. There are always interesting pictures of food to look at and they link up to blogs that tell a little story or give the recipes. Lately, I've found some tasty things and DON'T have the recipe linked to it. Grrr...
I do notice that I really enjoy the photos with the white backgrouds, pretty much sans background, not just white. I noticed this too when I was checking out my talented friend Aly's website, Sweetness by Alice. She's a professional pastry chef. Tasty stuff, that Aly makes.

I know how to make the bottom one and have a recipe for them. they are popular out east and called whoopie pies.
