It doesn't matter how often I visit the bookstore, I'll always find something to buy. This is the despite the fact that I still have a bunch of books sitting on the shelf that are waiting to be read as it is. I'm looking forward to our upcoming vacation to North Carolina where I know I'll get a lot of reading done. I have a few books on the stack that are coming along:
Reason for Hope by Jane Goodall
ve always been intrigued by Jane Goodall's life and anytime I get a chance to read about her adventures, I'm game.
This was a "top pick" at B&N and looked like a good one. We'll see. Anyone read it?
1,000 Places to Visit Before You Die by Patricia Schultz
Talk about a dream job... your editor asks you to write a book about traveling to 1000 places around the world. Twist my arm.

I actually read Memory Keeper's Daughter. It was pretty good, but I gave it to my mom to read; she likes stories about women who can survive without men.
I really enjoyed the Odd Thomas series by Dean Koontz. I think you'd really like them, too. The have a lot of dry humor and you'd love the main character. There are three in the series so far.
