I'm not really a Survivor fan, but I was checking out my Yahoo! Entertainment News and this story caught my eye. The new season of Survivor will be dividing the group by race: black, white, Latin and Asian. They are doing this because of complaints the show is not ethnically diverse and as a "social experiment."
Interesting concept.

I am a HUGE Survivor fan and I had not heard this! Although it is true that past "casts" have not been that diverse, however I don't think many reality shows are as a whole. Interesting!
I heard about this on the radio this morning. I'm not sure I think this is a good idea. I was also hearing that 13 of the 22 participants are actually actors? A CBS head honcho seemed to think that dividing tribes based on race was a "logical next step."
