Sad state of America

Well, not really of America, but me. I now know summer is upon us because all my favorite shows have ended for the season.... West Wing (gone forever), Gilmore Girls, ER (holy cow, did you see the season finale), The O.C. (another doosey). Boo, hoo. What am I going to do all summer? Reruns. Thank goodness for reruns. I can also relive the first 3 seasons of Gilmore Girls, as they are waiting on DVD for me in the box. The downfall of reruns is that I'm waiting for the day that I've seen every episode of L&O (Law and Order, dun dun dun dun duuuuuuuuun, duuuuuuuun - did you catch the theme song?) and CSI - the original. Two great favorites on Spike TV, USA, and TNT.

What happened on ER? I missed it. I don't watch consistently but I wish I would've caught it!

well, to sum it up...neela was refusing to go to gallant's funeral and pratt convinced her to go, and then she told off gallant's dad. the bigger story was that sam's ex-husband plotted to escape from prison via a trip to the hospital. so, once at the hospital, he held sam hostage until she agreed to get he and his buddy out. in the process, luka was given a muscle relaxant and tied to a hospital bed and one of the fellow prisons trying to escape was found out and guns were a'blazin'! In the process, pregnant abbey fell to the floor claiming she was okay. luka was still no where to be found. in the meantime, sam was forced into the escape van when she saw her kid, alex, bound and gagged in the van. luka finally came around but was still tied up and he saw through the window, abbey grab her stomach and put a bloody handprint on the window as she collapsed to the ground.

until next season...

Don't worry, Big Brother is starting in about a month and it is on 3 days a week - that will no doubt suck you in and keep you from the pleasant summer nights while you are glued to your television. Gina and I get into it every year. It's a really lame show.

Although, I am in a similar state of depression...no Lost, no The Office, no American Idol. boo hoo!
